"Truly stunning. My Sophie looks amazing. I asked them to capture her happy face with tongue out. I looked at all the photos posted and she came out perfect. Customer service was very nice, anyone leaving a bad review might honestly just have been frazzled from their pet passing. We researched this years in advance and called before she ever passed to know what to do. Never had an issue with their customer service. They were thorough in asking me what I wanted and checking in in each phase. This is a long process, they only have so many machines, they are transparent that it takes a long time."

"We decided to have our cat’s skull preserved and found Animal Family. I wasn’t sure what to expect from a process like this and I was so happy with the service we received here! The staff worked diligently to make sure our experience was positive, comfortable, and filled with compassion. We did the skull preservation and heart preservation, both of which were very reasonably priced. They estimated the skull preservation might take up to 10 months and it took about 9.5 months. We worked with Kate to schedule everything and work through all the logistics. She was fantastic! Her communication was great, she answered all of our questions, and she never once made me feel silly or judged for choosing to preserve my cat’s skull. This part isn’t a complaint, perhaps I should have just assumed this would be the case, but we didn’t know until we got there that we would have to look at my cat’s body during drop off to confirm everything. We were fortunate that our vet packaged her up so we hadn’t seen her until we got there to drop her off. Again, absolutely not a complaint just more of a heads up for anyone considering doing this! Anyway, thank you again to the lovely staff!"

"Phenomenal work, I just got my cat Sophia back from them the other day. I flew from Arizona to Ohio to come pick her up. I have such amazing things to say about this company. My cat Sophia died 12-18-24 had to be put down due to septic shock at the emergency vet. Worst day of my life when she died after 8yrs together. I chose Animal Family Pet Preservation for her freeze dry taxidermy after researching&calling a million taxidermists in the USA none did cats or pets in general except them. Kate answered all my questions- explained the process, gave clear instructions on prepping my cat for shipping her in a cooler to Ohio, she/her company paid for the shipping label upfront, (UPS was my only problem i didnt know there would be a snow storm at the time & caused a delay in my cat’s arrival but thankfully it was -20degrees @ the time there) She gave me consistent updates on where Sophia was at in the process- she made it easy for the payments it was split up in 3 payments to make it easier- she provided an exact ETA for date of completion & was done even sooner it was about 8months total roughly from when Sophia arrived there sometime in January I believe and I received her August 9th. I paid for the normal processing time (i know some people pay for expedited like 3 months so take this into consideration when reading my review because 8 months is a great turnaround time to me for the type of process freeze drying is in comparison to other taxidermists who quoted me 1-3yrs who couldnt even do pets) u can choose expedited but I chose the normal timeframe for financial reasons. My cost was only about $2,640 out the door (split up into 3payments) **mind you I chose to pay extra to preserve her heart&next day delivery for her initial arrival to the facility that UPS messed up which is not her companys fault** VERY worth it, she came out AMAZING. When I walked in to pick her up I started happy crying, she looked amazing (see photos) I highly recommend this company & when my 2 dogs pass away when their time comes I may be a repeat client. I highly recommend flying in or driving up to pick up your pet & rent a car&air bnb because they are out in the country (thats what i did). This was the best experience& best money I ever spent, she& her family that runs this company really care about you and your pet and they are extremely thorough&informative&empathetic. I’m very happy I will also leave a good review on their facebook page."
